Record the concern
Capture the people involved, what happened, observations and immediate actions. Record when an event occurred, including approximate or unknown dates.
Safeguarding case management
A structured place to record safeguarding concerns, add information as it emerges and follow a case through review. Built for teams supporting children and vulnerable adults.
The product
Keep the account, its context and the steps taken together in one case. Add new records without replacing the original account.
Capture the people involved, what happened, observations and immediate actions. Record when an event occurred, including approximate or unknown dates.
Record an ordered sequence of disclosure symbols with accompanying words and context. Add freehand drawings or mark a front or rear body outline, with a description.
Add notes, incidents, updated person details, safety assessments and referral records. Set review dates and find due or overdue follow-up in case queues.
Request a case review, record a review decision or request further work. Transfer responsibility through an acceptance workflow, with access governed by roles and case responsibilities.
Attach PDF, JPEG or PNG files with a description and provenance. Original files and any recorded replacements remain part of the case history.
Authorised case owners and reviewers can prepare a PDF report containing case history, chronology and visual records. Attachment details are listed; original files are accessed separately.
A record that keeps its history
Recording time and event time are kept separate. View the history in the order it was recorded, or explore a chronology using the event dates supplied.
The service records who submitted each entry and when it was saved. Case content is encrypted, and integrity checks run when case history is read.
A correction creates a new entry with a reason. Earlier versions remain available, preserving what was originally recorded.
Case access is checked against current permissions. Organisation administration alone does not give access to case content.
